In reality, the first “ideal” person is everywhere. It is so easy to find another person who is like us in many ways and most of the time we fool ourselves into believing that he/she is the right one. The second ideal person described is hard to find but possible. What makes that person best for you is the fact that amidst differences, you find similarities that bind you two together, little differences that actually make your relationship more interesting. It allows for learning and partnership.

It is easier to find someone whom you share many similarities with. But who ever said that “easy” equates to “better”? It is the hunt that makes the relationship worth it. Stop looking at the shallow end of things. Dig deep. It is hard, but not impossible. Don’t allow yourself to be fooled. You might be making the biggest regret of your life. Choose well. Commit.

The best person for you will cross your life only once. Don’t miss it. And don’t be stupid. Be open. Be smart.

My Saturday was extraordinary, how it's always been since who knows when.

Conversations that last for hours always leave me with at least one thought that stays with me forever.

Daddy said that no relationship is perfect. And that people make mistakes. What's important is that we accept our mistake, and then change. Contrary to what others think that once one made that mistake, they would end up repeating it.

I agree with Daddy.In a relationship, who else would help pull each other up. Who else would be there to help you become better. Who else would complete your life and make you feel contented.

Tutoring Club

Yes, I'm blogging like crazy because it takes my attention away from studying LAW and Didik is sleeping. No one is telling me to keep studying. Haha.

Anyway, I started tutoring in Tutoring Club BHS last March 2009. And since then, it has been great!

I've always wanted to teach. And thank God for Ms. Pat who called me one day telling me that they're in need of one tutor and fortunately, my schedule allowed me to work part time.

I stopped tutoring last April and May because I had to do my internship. I missed the place so much that I found myself visiting a number of times. I was nervous going back since I felt like I've forgotten the "system." But contrary to my feelings, it was like I didn't leave at all.

I realized recently that my heart is really in teaching. More than anything, I love the kids. Damn, they can test your patience to the brim and be the meanest creatures in the world, but... I don't know what's in them that just makes me at peace. I had moments, mind you, when I cried because of too much frustration or because I felt disrepected. But those moments were too minute to even make me consider leaving. Apart from the kids, I have gotten to love the tutors. We all have become close and we are just like one family. Cliche as it may sound, but having them as my co-workers is absolutely heartwarming. They always give me a reason to believe in my passion, a motivation to be better, and a reason to stay.

Teaching is rewarding. It will forever be one of the things that would never fail to make me smile.

First week of school felt like a month.

Second week felt like Finals week.

One day, lolo is sick.

Next day, he got worse.

Following day, lolo's brother dies.

And the day after, is just like any other.

Stress level is that much. It's harassing.

But...

It only takes one bar of chocolate... (Well, 1 bar for dinner plus dessert after lunch)

This is my absolute favorite song of the Beatles.

Up to this date, I couldn't breakdown the meaning of this song. Is it time for Nik to analyze the song? YAY!

Maybe the lyrics is a string of very important but not connected ideas?

Or, they're just high from all the acids and pots? I THINK YES.

Dont you think the joker laughs at you? it could be a reference to John's distaste towards the over-analyzation of his lyrics.

I am he as you are he as you are me... I take it as we are one and connected.

The Beatles never took themselves seriously, John was never really into the hype of the beatles, Thats why he instigated the comment about being bigger than Jesus. People did put them on a pedestle, of course John wasn't saying that he is more powerful or anything. He was merely saying that people hyped them too much.

Is it obvious that I'm a fan? drool much dik? hehe.

Completely beautiful! The lyrics, the meaning, the melody and even the way he sings is amazing. Yup, he is one of my idol and man crush!

This song is about loving a person so much that you can't explain to the person, you have to show the person the entire world and the whole universe becomes a symbol for how much you love that person. You want to give the person everything you possibly could and you want to experience everything with that person and let the person know how they make you feel.

This song wants me to be alone with you. Away from the world, Away from worries and struggles. Somehow when I'm just with you, everything and everything else disappears.

I could really use a wish right now...

One night, before going to sleep, I prayed for the death of all cockroaches in the world.


That same night, 3 roaches crawled on my bed. As if telling me "YOU WISH!" Gross.


Be careful what you wish for. Sometimes, the total opposite happens.

It's best not to wish for anything. Just live with what you have and do something about it.
