This is my absolute favorite song of the Beatles.

Up to this date, I couldn't breakdown the meaning of this song. Is it time for Nik to analyze the song? YAY!

Maybe the lyrics is a string of very important but not connected ideas?

Or, they're just high from all the acids and pots? I THINK YES.

Dont you think the joker laughs at you? it could be a reference to John's distaste towards the over-analyzation of his lyrics.

The Beatles never took themselves seriously, John was never really into the hype of the beatles, Thats why he instigated the comment about being bigger than Jesus. People did put them on a pedestle, of course John wasn't saying that he is more powerful or anything. He was merely saying that people hyped them too much.
