Bali

Here are some of my shots during our recent trip to Bali.

I wasn't able to swim on the beach. I just shopped, slept, ate, walked. And took photos.

More photos to come!

  1. Flower- I never really appreciated skills for macro photography until I attempted a few days ago. My wife asked me to take a picture of her engagement ring for a recent post (check carlinlamagna.blogspot.com). It took me the entire memory card to come up with decent one. Mahirap pala talaga. This is really nice.

Bird- The color and composition is just awesome. As an amateur photographer I have a lot of tendency to misuse and abuse aperture capacity and end up with a lot of post processing to balance it out. This is just perfect.

Lions- I think this is a little too bright for me. A little post processing on the blackpoint to increase detail on the subjects wouldnt hurt.

Rocks and Sea- No impact on me.

Temple landscape- Ang ganda, ganda nito. The composition is sssssssoooooo good. exposure is perfect for this one.

  2. Flower - yup. the power of macro lens!do the reverse lens technique! DIY macro for you dax.

Bird - the back white post are a bit distracting. but still a good shot.

Lions - yup i agree. too many highlight overblown.

Rocks and sea - ive told this to nik. this would have been my fave shot if:
    1) use of golden hour (sunrise or sunset)
    2) use of polarizers and stoppers
    3) use of tripod

    i still like this shot.

temple - my second fave shot if
    1) TRIPOD (less noise, more crisp color)

the last 2shots got very good composition.

nik, you should learn how to post process.
